This October 31st does not have to
be a night filled with fright for children. Wayside’s Western Fiesta
formerly known as the Harvest Hoe Down will be hosting its 9th annual
Halloween alternative on Wednesday, October 31st from 6 PM to 9 PM.
Our purpose is to provide a fun and safe event where life on earth and eternity
is celebrated on Halloween, not darkness and death. There will be no scary
masks, Freddy Kruger claws or skeletons being highlighted at this event. It is
a time of fellowship and fun for people of all ages to gather and enjoy a
western themed party.
There will be live, homegrown entertainment
performed by children and adults. Children of all ages will find many fun
activities to enjoy. There will be a bounce house, a mechanical bull, toddler
play area, pony rides, giant super slide and lots of games and candy! Food and
drinks can be purchased for a reasonable price.
Admission is one bag of individually wrapped
candy per child. Everyone will be wearing country western attire
so break out your jeans, boots and bandanas. Invite your friends and
neighbors--all are welcome. For some free
